Watercolor Studies

Watercolor always seems to be the medium of choice for expressive painters when they do studies. Turner, Sargeant, J. Frank Currier, all did them.  The freedom and easy of watercolor, the ability to work rapidly and outside all contributes to the appeal of watercolor studies.
