Connecticut's, Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, Trains a New Generation of Artists

This is a very interesting article about some of the talented young artists just graduating from the Lyme Academy of Fine Art in Old Lyme Connecticut. I am particularly pleased to read that the tradition of American landscape painting found in the Hudson River School continues to inspire new generations of artists who learn from them and then reinterpret their sense of the sublime in nature into images for the 21st century. Enjoy!

I'm so glad to see that young people are still studying the arts. I worry that, in our quest for test scores we are losing our focus on the essence of who we are as a culture... The arts define us and make life valuable. But YOU know that!! :)
