Peony Time

Pink Peonies 6x8, watercolor sketch

It's peony time! If there was ever a flower that represented the word "dessert" peonies would be it. These delicious looking flowers look for all the world like scoops of strawberry ice cream piled high with whipped cream!

I had a bit of fun today taking some photos...,,

I'm always honored when nature makes a house call, this little guy joined me today as I was painting peonies......

I've been working with The Art Guide for years now, early on I would write guest posts for their blog and for years I advertised in their magazine. The magazine is no longer in print but the Art Guide has instead turned it's efforts to online venues and resources for artists.

If you're looking for a webpage with a clean easy to use design and the ability to post images of your work quickly along with your bio and a link to your main web page, blog, Etsy Shop etc for $10 a month than you might want to check out their new offer www.theartguide.com , click where it says "featured artist" to see what your gallery would look like, than just contact them for more info. They're nice honest people to work with.

AutumnLeaves, my dear friend and best commentor, I did get your lovely comment on this post but I accidently deleted it while trying to allow it to be posted from my iphone, which I love, but the touch screen is very sensitive and I got too near the delete button!

Thank you for the comment I didn't want you wondering why it hadn't been posted!
