140 Hours Art Auctions: A Good Idea Just Keeps Getting Better!

Have you heard all the buzz about the 140 Hours Art Auctions?  A single idea born over at Twitter is becoming an online sensation!

The auctions are designed to give artists a new, exciting venue to sell work and to give collectors an opportunity to purchase the work of both emerging and established artists with the potential for acquiring works at excellent auction prices. Of course a live auction also means that works can get bid up and bidding wars can happen! This is fantastic news for the artists involved!

140 Hours is growing and practically every week there's something new happening.

140Hours can be found on Twitter at 140Hours

140 Hours now has easy bid forms on their website so you can bid even if your not on Twitter (what you're NOT on Twitter! Why ever not!?)

140Hours donates 10% of sales to charity, They are currently partnered with Haven Hospice in Florida. Plus in response to the earthquake tragedy in Haiti 140Hours ran a special auction with 100% of the sales going to relief efforts through Doctors without Borders and International Medical Corps. Nearly $4,000 was raised!

140Hours now has a Facebook Fan Page where you can keep up with all the exciting developments! Become a fan today!

140Hours now offers up to three works per artist and that means even more fabulous art to choose from.

140Hours works with 12Flat developing cutting edge widgets with the potential to go viral, that make sharing the 140Hours story as easy as the click of a mouse.
