Second day of the smARTist Telesummit. Here's what I took away today. From Paul Dorrell, author of Living the Artists Life, here are some snippets "even in this economy gallerists are still looking for amazing talent(* note to self, keep working really hard), people with discretionary income are less effected by the economic down turn and are still buying art(good to know), corporate collectors are an important venue to pursue, an artist must have a website( visit mine), gallery wrap canvas is fine for some types of art, but landscapes usually need frames, develop your own unique style and stick with it(after all my experiments in the last half of '08,this answered a question that was plaguing me, more about that soon) , and ask one of your collectors to host an opening in their home, WOW that last one was a new thought for me!! I would LOVE that, it is precisely the friendly, relaxed type of scenerio I would enjoy sharing my work in. Would anyone in CT be interested??

Hey Folks, I've been using moo.com for my business cards and they're fabulous! Best business cards I've ever had. 50 cards, a different one of my paintings on each and full color on the back, heafty cardstock and lovely color. People tell me they're too nice to throw away and they keep them, some have even framed them LOL Use my refer a friend code 78EPBE and get 20% off and I get a flickrPro account ! Win-win I like that!

Jan: I am very impressed with how great the blending of colors is. Looks as good as oil to me. Great work.
