The Yale Center for British Art

I so enjoyed ny visit to the Yale Center for British Art on Tuesday! It's a really well designed building with interior spaces that are a pleasure to wander through. The first 3 pics give you a feel for the interior, and the rest are my favorites from the collection. The Constables and the Turners were my absolute favorites. Enjoy!

JMW Turner, Staffa Fingal's Cove

JMW Turner, Wreckers

Samuel Palmer, The Harvest Moon

David Cox, The Cross Roads

David Cox, Going to the HayField

George Morland, Selling Guinea Pigs, detail

John Constable, Cloud Study

John Constable, Stone Henge at Sunset

John Constable, Dedham Lock

JMW Turner, Stormy Sea Breaking on a Shore

Gainsborough, Landscape with Cattle

Gainsborough, Landscape with a Flock of Sheep

You're Welcome Carolann,

It was a lovely day all the more so because I shared it with my daughter and son!
