The New Britain Museum of American Art 39th Annual Juried Member's Show

I am so honored to have had a piece juried into this fabulous show! It is definitely thrilling to have one of my paintings hanging in a museum!! The New Britain Musuem of American Art is a wonderful museum. Though small compared to the giants like the Met and the MOMA it has an surprisingly excellent permanent collection and intriguing special exhibits. I should also mention that the building has a modern layout that is open and easy to navigate, a wonderful cafe, and is situated along the edge of Walnut Hill Park, which was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, who also designed Central Park in NYC. So I often feel like I've been to NY when I go the NBMAA, only minus the long ride, the noise and exhaustion lol. If you're anywhere nearby please do come and see the show ( until 11/30) and enjoy the rest of the musuem as well.
