Checkerboard Cake

Checkerboard Cake
oil on panel
6x8 in, unframed
Although I've moved on to two new series of paintings Flower-a-Day and Petitescapes-Small Format Landscapes (see both at my website) many of you have requested I continue with this series and I've had a lot of requests for desserts LOL. So I'll be adding to this collection fairly regularly again, with many different subjects. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a painting! I hope you are all enjoying them as much as I enjoy painting them!

I'm so glad to see you've restarted this series. I am the proud owner of the pinecone 6x8 painting, and would love to see more natural objects like that in your series. Natural objects become beautifully abstract when they are isolated like the way you represented the pinecone. Thanks.

This is such a fun series! I know it's still summer now but the cold weather will inevitably come and I'll be doing more of these over the winter. Also look for some sea shells in the near future and some other goodies too!
